2019 LPMN State Convention
Cambria Suites Hotel, 9655 Grove Circle N, Maple Grove, MN 55369
Registration is now open for the 2019 LPMN Convention!
We have made a special effort to localize our convention this year! We’ve invited members of the coalitions we have built to speak about their wins/ losses and struggles and also extended an invitation to the many elected libertarians who are serving communities on the local level. The event kicks off with the business session and an Affiliate Pizza Party. If you are a person who is looking to get active in the Liberty movement, you don’t want to miss this event. The LPMN is geared up to make some major headway in the lead up to the 2020 POTUS election. Let’s get to work! The 2019 convention is on Saturday, April 27!
$45 for early bird special until March 1st.
$55 dollars per ticket after March 1st and until April 28th
$15 for Students
Candidates for LPMN Leadership positions may announce in advance or from the Convention floor. For candidates who announce in advance, if you notify the Convention Committee of your candidacy by March 31, 2019, you will receive the following benefits:

Platform Change Proposals
At each LPMN State Convention, Platform changes may be proposed and voted on by the eligible delegates in attendance. Modifications to the Platform need a 2/3 majority of “Aye” votes in order to pass; an abstention from voting on a Platform change is the equivalent of a “Nay” vote. The persons who submit Platform change proposals will be responsible for presenting the proposed changes to the Convention delegates.
If you have Platform changes you would like to propose, you may submit them in advance or from the Convention floor. For Platform changes announced in advance, if you submit your change to the Convention Committee by March 31, 2019, your proposal will receive the following benefits:
- Posting of the proposed Platform change to the LPMN website’s State Convention page
- Inclusion of the proposed Platform change in an email blast to LPMN members in advance of the Convention
- Distribution of the proposed Platform change in hard-copy form to the State Convention attendees
- Overhead presentation of the proposed Platform change during the Platform discussion
If you would like to submit a proposed Platform change, please send an email to email@example.com with your name, the Platform component you are proposing to change, and the updated content of the affected Platform component. This email needs to be submitted by March 31, 2019 in order to be included in the advanced communication materials.
