The Vans Warped Tour, a festival of alternative, punk, metal, and rap music, came to Shakopee in August. Several thousand people, mostly young adults, enjoyed an afternoon of freedom of expression with music by their favorite bands.
Volunteers from the LPMN manned a table at the festival, explaining to those who stopped by that support of this freedom is one of the Libertarian Party’s core principles. It was a productive afternoon, as many concert goers picked up literature, asked questions, and learned a bit about libertarianism.
