With Ted Cruz suspending his presidential campaign, and John Kasich rumored to follow suit soon, the GOP nominee will be the colorful and polarizing Donald Trump. Google searches trended upward for the Libertarian Party, shortly after Cruz’s announcement as Reason Magazine reports here. Searches for Gary Johnson trended upward at roughly the same pace. Gary Johnson described himself as the only viable small-government candidate left in the race, targeting the #NeverTrump crowd, in a recent article for the Washington Times.
