Young Libertarians @ Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis

Chris Holbrook for Governor/Chris Dock for Lt. Governor : 1347

Heather Johnson for US Senate: 1266

Keegan Iversen for State Auditor: 1208

*Need 2500 each to assure ballot access*

There are 3 key areas where we need your help:

1) Please, if you have pledged signatures, work to attain your goal ASAP. Mail your petitions right away. Whatever you have, on Tuesday May 27th please get them to us so we can direct our resources accordingly. Better yet, if you are in the metro please call Andy at 763-528-5163 to drop them off at our office in Osseo(NW suburbs) or meet us while we petition, eg Lake Calhoun.

Mail to: Libertarian Party of Minnesota, 624 Central Ave, Osseo, MN 55369.

2) Help us with public petitioning! We have had tremendous a success with public petitioning, getting 30-60/hr in some spots. The only problem, we need more volunteers! We are doing it at Lake Calhoun among other spots. It’s been a blast for everyone who has done it. You get to meet all kinds of people enjoy the sun while doing what you are passionate about.  Most people will sign your forms; we will help you get started and train you in. Please contact andy.burns@lpmn.org or call at 763-528-5163 to help out. Anytime is appreciated!

3) Help us at Grand Old Day. We will have a booth at this event where hundreds of thousands of people will attend. Contact rj.penny@lpmn.org to sign up to volunteer. Event time and booth location is here.

In addition, we have exciting news! We have two additional candidates that are working to attain signatures for ballot access. Bob Odden, former Chair, and Mary O’Connor, LPMN Treasurer, are launching a bid for Secretary of State and Attorney General respectively. These will be done by public petitioners in the next week. By no means will this be an easy task. Again, we need YOU to assist us by volunteering and join us for public petitioning.

We want to emphasize again, please attain your pledge for the 3 candidates(Governor, US Senate, and State Auditor) ASAP. We are counting on you! These 3 candidates are our top priority.

These are the two most important weeks in the entire election season for us, period. One has already passed. We’ll have to double down and boost our efforts significantly in this upcoming week if we are to get all 5 statewide candidates on the ballot. It would be the first time the LPMN has done so since 1998.

Great work Olga!
