Outright Libertarians, the GLBT affiliate of the LPMN, set up a booth at this year’s Pride in Loring Park, Minneapolis.
Hundreds of passersby were given the World’s Smallest Political Quiz. While the crowd was overwhelmingly liberal, quite a few folks scored in the libertarian quadrant. Some liberals expressed their disappointment with the new Obama Administration and were willing to consider alternatives to the Democratic Party. It was an opportunity for Libertarian volunteers to explain that the Libertarian Party is unwavering in its support of personal liberty, and to encourage people to consider the benefits of economic liberty as well.
