In a multi-state effort coordinated by the LPIL, the LPMN assisted with volunteers and funding for a booth at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair in central Wisconsin in June.

The annual fair features exhibitions and seminars on all types of renewable energies including wind, solar, natural products, and conservation technologies. Over 23,000 visitors attended from across the Midwest, including Minnesota. As an event founded by entrepreneurs, do-it-yourselfers, and activists dedicated to raising awareness of renewable energy, it seemed very appropriate for Libertarians to be represented. Libertarian volunteers were well-received, with many people stopping by the booth to pick up literature, ask questions, and discuss current issues.
