On Friday morning, LPMN Executive Director Kevin Bradley was a guest on MPR’s Morning Edition with Cathy Wurzer.

Listen to interview.

“The Republican establishment’s opposition to Donald Trump’s candidacy is leading to speculation that a third party alternative could be more viable than usual in this year’s presidential race.

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura said earlier this month on Morning Edition that he was considering a run for president with the Libertarian Party.

Libertarians are attractive to Ventura because the party expects to be on the ballot in every state this year.

But on Thursday, Kevin Bradley, executive director of the Libertarian Party of Minnesota, issued a statement saying he would not support Ventura if he sought the Libertarian nomination. In addition, Bradley said Ventura will not be invited to speak at the party’s Minnesota convention in April.

MPR’s Cathy Wurzer spoke with Bradley.”
