WHEREAS Individuals have the ability to determine for themselves acceptable risk in choosing how to use their own properties or property to which they are welcome to visit
WHEREAS The First Amendment protects free assembly among all consenting parties
WHEREAS Governor Tim Walz’ executive orders are unilateral, arbitrary, and a clear violation of The Constitution
WHEREAS Attorney General Keith Ellison choosing to use the legal system to threaten financial penalty and imprisonment is abhorrent to The Constitution and individual liberty
BE IT RESOLVED We the Libertarian party of Minnesota DEMAND Attorney General Keith Ellison CEASE AND DESIST his threats of violence, punishment, and intimidation disguised as “law enforcement” against anyone wishing to use their home or establishment as they see fit.
