One of the common misconceptions about Libertarians is that we don’t care about people in need. This is absolutely not true! When we are critical of government welfare programs, it isn’t because we don’t believe people should be helped – it is because the government’s failed and wasteful “war on poverty” programs don’t work, and private charity and direct assistance are much better solutions.

Black Friday LibertariansOnce again this year, Libertarians are organizing events that directly help people in need. On Black Friday, three groups of Libertarians are leading donation drives to provide warm clothing and supplies directly to those who need them.

If you would like to participate in these programs, you can learn more about them and contact the organizers of the following groups:

South Metro Black Friday Libertarians

North Metro Black Friday Libertarians

West Central Lakes Libertarians (Western Minnesota)

Thank you for your generous support of these donation drives!
