Jo Jorgensen Bus Tour Rally in Burnsville, MN!

URGENT SPEAKER LINE UP CHANGE FOR TODAYS LIBERTARIAN PRESIDENTIAL – VICE PRESIDENTIAL BUS TOUR VISIT IN BURNSVILLE ON SEPTEMBER 25
Minneapolis, Minnesota (September 25, 2020) –Dr. Jo Jorgensen announced late last night that she will not be appearing in person today at the rally in Burnsville, due to a sudden illness. She sends her profound regrets. Libertarian Vice Presidential candidate Spike Cohen will instead be speaking in person on behalf of the campaign.

The event will go on as planned with the decorated tour bus stopping today, Friday, September 25 at Nicollet Commons Park in Burnsville, Minnesota.

The event is scheduled from 5:45-7:00 pm as part of the ‘Real Change for Real People’ nationwide campaign bus tour. Guest speakers will include local Libertarians Cara Schulz of the Burnsville City Council and Chris Klavetter, candidate for Mayor of Burnsville.

Jeremy ‘Spike’ Cohen is an entrepreneur, activist, and host of the podcast Muddled Waters. He is the first millennial to appear on a POTUS/VP ticket and the first Jewish nominee for VP of any political party since Joe Lieberman in 2000.

“We are excited to hear the campaign speak about how smaller government solutions benefit us on healthcare, education, war, and taxation.” said Chris Holbrook, LPMN Chair, who will be introducing the speakers.

The Jorgensen/Cohen ticket is the only third party on the ballot in all 50 states, plus D.C. and Guam. A recent national survey (Marist, Sept. 11-16) shows Jorgensen polling at 5%. At 5% the Libertarian Party would gain major party status in Minnesota.

The bus tour event today is open to the public and free of charge.
