In several states including Minnesota, "Super Tuesday" featured highly contested races between multiple contenders in both the Republican and Democratic presidential races, undoubtedly spurring higher than usual turnout among the public for those parties. Exactly 226 Minnesotans decided that they didn't care.

2016 LPMN Statewide Caucuses

On Tuesday March 1, the Libertarian Party of Minnesota will be caucusing across the state. These caucuses are an opportunity for Libertarians to gather and organize on the regional level. With 12 candidates competing for the Libertarian presidential nomination, an important feature will be a presidential straw poll to be conducted at each location, with final results to be reported to the public and media.

The Libertarian Party of Minnesota has secured its sixth elected official, as Steve Grotting, a well-reputed real estate agent in the city of Independence, sought and received approval to become an elected Libertarian.

LPMN selects new Executive Director

The search is over! After a months-long effort, the LPMN has re-filled a critical position in its core leadership. Party activists are excited to announce that Kevin Bradley has been chosen as the new LPMN Executive Director. Mr Bradley is a native of southern Minnesota, with 20 years’ experience in technical communications and a master’s degree in counseling.

Fundraiser draws generous response for Keegan Iversen

Keegan Iversen was the LPMN's candidate for State Auditor in 2014. He quickly became known as "our hardest-working candidate", logging many miles in his car as he traveled to meet Minnesotans across the state during his candidacy, including an extended trip through the Iron Range. In October, he was injured in a serious motorcycle accident.
